Receipt Scan: The Math Problem at the Table

You run a restaurant or a higher-ticket business. Your spend per visit is bigger than a coffee shop, and the reward potential is higher.

Because of that, handing out a single stamp for a $150 dinner the same way you would for a $4 coffee doesn't make sense. You want to reward based on spend.

Making your staff calculate that spend and issue stamps during a rush is a mistake. They either hold up the table doing math, or they skip it entirely.

Staff tracking is personal, but it slows down service. POS integrations are automatic, but they get complicated and expensive.

What if the customer captured the data, the system did the math, and your staff did nothing?

That is why we built Receipt Scan. Customers photograph their receipt, AI reads it, and stamps are added based on spend. Your staff are completely out of the loop.

Here is how it runs:

  • Set the rule: In your portal, you decide how much a customer needs to spend to earn a stamp. For example, $10 equals 1 stamp.

  • Place the code: You have two options. If your POS supports it, print the QR code right at the bottom of the receipt. If it doesn't, print the QR and display it on a stand at your table or counter.

  • They snap it: The customer scans the QR with their phone. A window opens. If they aren't a member yet, they join right there. Then, they take a picture of their bill.

  • The system reads it: meed reads the receipt, checks the spend against your rule, and adds the stamps. It takes about 10 seconds.

Your staff served the customer. That is all they needed to do.
