Set Up Your Free Loyalty Program on meed

Updated: Aug 31

UPDATE: Now you can create your free digital loyalty stamp card on meed using our nifty onboarding wizard. It's even faster. Click here to deploy your digital stamp card in minutes.

Upgrading your loyalty has never been easier.

Ditch that printed stamp card, forget about making your customers install another app, and set up your free loyalty program on meed.

You will love it because it takes so little time and is super easy to manage.

Your customers will love it because all their meed-powered loyalty programs are in one place, and they won’t have to set up a separate login or install a separate app to earn rewards for being loyal to you.

You can do this in just minutes. Here’s how:

What you need

You will need to upload a few images. These are:

Image:

Minimum Dimensions:

Crops To:

Logo (mandatory)

312px X 312px

Square (1:1)

Google/Apple Wallet Pass Image (optional)

312px x 126px

3:1

Poster Image (optional)

312px x 312px

Square (1:1)

For all images, when you upload, a tool will appear that will crop the image to the ratio shown. If you have a horizontal logo, please ensure there is sufficient white space at the top and bottom to accommodate it.

1- Create your free account

meed is entirely free to use - including ALL features on the platform with a membership cap of 50. Using an iPad, laptop or desktop, in your web browser, go to portal.meedloyalty.com

Create your free digital stamp card on meed

Click on [Sign-up for free] in the top right corner.

Enter your email address in the pop-up window.

Enter your email - meed

You will be sent a one-time password (OTP) to that email address. When you receive it, enter the OTP into the next screen. Click [Next Step].

Enter your one time password

meed will ask you for your name, organisation (whom we bill if you upgrade to meed Pro) and to set a password. You don’t need to enter your full name; just your first name or nickname will suffice so that the system can be polite. Click [Next Step].

Add your name, organisation name and password to your meed account

If everything goes as planned, and why shouldn't it, then you will see this screen. Click "Go to Business Portal". Next, we need to create a program that people can join.

Congratulations - your account on meed is ready

2 - Create your free loyalty program

You are now looking at the loyalty program screen. There is a lot on here, but it is actually quite simple, and it's only a few pieces of information required.

Let’s deal with basic information about your loyalty program in the first left-most column.

  1. Give your loyalty program a name - it could be as simple as your business name or as creative as you like. If you have different locations with different names, you might want to pick a more imaginative name that is not tied to just one of your businesses. In my case, I am calling it “Recaffeinated.”

  2. Write an introduction about your business and/or loyalty program. Don’t worry—you can edit this later!

  3. Select your industry. In my case, as a coffee shop, I am selecting “Food and Beverages.”

Now, still in the first column on the left, click [Enter location]. In the pop-up, fill in the name of the business at that location (which might be the same or different to your organisation's name), the street address, and a label for it (could be the branch name), and upload your logo. When done, click save.

My first coffee shop is a pretend location in Wanchai, in Hong Kong, where meed's home base is. It's called Phil's Beans. Notice how each location can have its own name and logo, which sit under the name and logo of the loyalty program itself. They can all be the same, or they can all be different, to match how your business is structured,

NOTE: If you have multiple shops or outlets, you can add them all now, or just add one now while you get used to the system, and add the others later once you have set everything up.

Let’s upload your assets, so turn your attention to column 2.

  1. Upload your loyalty program logo. It might be the same as your location logo, but we allow you to make it different.

  2. If you have a wide logo that won't fit in a square, you can upload it where it says "Rectangular Logo"

  3. Upload the image for your Apple & Google Membership card pass, which your customers can add to their phone wallet. If you plan to create a stamp card, which you should do immediately, then you can skip this.

  4. Upload an image which will be used for the downloadable recruitment posters that meed generates for you. Again, you can do this now or skip it for later if you want to use an auto-generated recruitment poster from meed.

Scroll down the column a little, and you will see a section called Extra Link.

This could be the website for your business, and it is shown in the About section of each of your members' wallet passes.

Finally, in column 3, click the white box under “Select Your Colour.” This will be the background colour of your membership card and the highlight colour for all your campaigns. You can enter a hexadecimal RGB colour directly if you wish. For example, #FFFFFF is white.

Verify that everything looks correct, note you can check how your member card will look on both Apple and Google Wallets, and then press the large orange button labelled “Create Loyalty Program.”

That’s It!

Congratulations, you have now created your loyalty program with meed.

The system will next ask you what sort of loyalty card you want to create. Read this article - All about Campaigns - for help choosing the right option for you.
