Upgrading your loyalty has never been easier.
Ditch that printed stamp card, forget about making your customers install another app, and set up your free loyalty program on meed.
You will love it because it takes so little time and is super easy to manage.
Your customers will love it because all of their meed-powered loyalty programs are in one place, and they won’t have to set up a separate login or install a separate app so they can earn rewards for being loyal to you.
You can do this right now, in minutes. Here’s how:
What you need
You will need a few images to upload. These are:
Image: | Minimum Dimensions: | Max File Size: | Crops To: |
Logo | 312px X 312px | 2MB | Square (1:1) |
Google/Apple Wallet Pass Image | 312px x 126px | 2MB | 3:1 |
Poster Image | 312px x 312px | 2MB | Square (1:1) |
For all images, when you upload, a tool will appear that will crop the image to the ratio shown. If you have a horizontal logo, please ensure there is enough white space at the top and bottom to allow for this.
Create your free account
Using a laptop or desktop, in your web browser, go to portal.meedloyalty.com
Click on [Sign-up for free] in the top right corner.
Enter your email address in the pop-up window.
You will be sent a one-time password (OTP) to that email address. When you receive it, enter the OTP into the next screen. Click [Next Step].
meed will ask you your name. You don’t need to enter your full name, just your first name or nickname, so the system can be polite! Click [Next Step].
Enter your business name.
For this example, I am creating a program for my fictional coffee shop, Phil’s Beans. So this is what I have entered. This is the name of the business tied to your account. Later, you will add the name for your loyalty program and the individual locations. Don’t worry too much about this field if they have different names. It is not public.
Click [Next Step]. You have created your account. Now, you can create your free loyalty program.
Create your free loyalty program
You are now looking at the loyalty program screen. There is a lot on here, but it is actually quite simple.
Let’s deal with basic information about your loyalty program in the first left-most column.
Give your loyalty program a name - it could be as simple as your business name or as creative as you like. If you have different locations with different names, you might want to pick a more imaginative name that is not tied to just one of your businesses. In my case, I am calling it “Coffee Addicts.”
Write an introduction about your business and/or loyalty program. Don’t worry—you can edit this later!
Select your industry. In my case, as a coffee shop, I am selecting “Food and Beverages.”
Now click [Enter new location]. In the pop-up, fill in the name of the business at that location (which might be the same or different to your organisation's name), the street address, and a label for it (could be the branch name), and upload your logo. When done, click save.
NOTE: If you have more than one location and want to track activity across those locations, you must upgrade to a paid tier.
Let’s upload your assets, turning your attention to column 2.
Upload your loyalty program logo. It might be the same as your location logo, but we allow you to make it different.
Upload the image for your Apple & Google Membership card pass, which your customers can add to their phone wallet
Upload an image which will be used for the downloadable recruitment posters that meed generates for you.
Scroll down to the same column. You will find some settings here and the option to enter your own privacy policy link.
Discoverable means that your loyalty program can be found within the meed web app by consumers. Yes, meed is a discovery platform as well where you can find new customers! Default is on. But if you are just getting used to the system, you can turn that off for now until you are confident things are just the way you want them.
Joinable means that someone can join your program through discovery without interacting with your social media or visiting your store. Default is also on.
Finally, in column 3, click the white box under “Select Your Colour.” This will be the background colour of your membership card and the highlight colour for all your campaigns. You can enter a hexadecimal RGB colour directly if you wish, for example, #FFFFFF is white.
Check everything looks right, and then press the big orange button that says “Create Loyalty Program”
That’s It!
Congratulations, you have now created your loyalty program with meed. In the final column, you can now see your program QR code. Scan it with your mobile phone and become your first member.
It was that easy!
You can also scan the QR image below, and join Coffee Addicts by Phil’s Beans! It’s not a real coffee shop, but if it ever opens, I will make sure you get a discount!
