If you have set up your Checkin for Bars program with meed, then you are off to a great start. Your customers can earn rewards just for turning up with the simplest yet most effective loyalty solution for bar operators in town.


But that is just the start. Not only can you reward your customers for coming back more often. However, you can also use incentives to encourage them to go during those challenging off-peak times.

How to set up an offer voucher

The image at the top of this article is an interactive tutorial video. Just click the blue boxes to progress and see how easy it is.


These are the steps:


  1. Log in to your portal account using the email with which you created the account

  2. Head to the campaigns section and then click new campaign

  3. Choose whether you want to offer a percentage discount, a cash discount, or a straight redemption. In this case, we have found that percentage discounts are often the most effective.

  4. In the Product or Service field, enter a name for the voucher. Don't state the discount, as it will be shown elsewhere in the voucher. For example, "Tuesday Lunch Special".

  5. If choosing a discount or cash, enter the relevant amount.

  6. In the second column, describe the offer.

  7. Then set conditions. For example, "not to be used in conjunction with any other offer". If you are doing an item redemption, for example, a free drink of your choice, the condition might be "Only with a set lunch". Or for a cash voucher, "Minimum Spend of $X".

  8. Upload an image for the coupon.

  9. In the far right column, click the toggle to convert this toa regular campaign, rather than a voucher stored in the voucher bank. The big button will turn orange.

  10. Select your start and stop dates (when the campaign will expire) from the calendar.

  11. Click Launch campaign and confirm


That's it - everyone with a program pass in their phone will receive a notification that they have a new reward they can redeem.


Just a few minutes, and you have a tool to get all your members to come in on those lower volume times.
