Using the meed App

The meed App is used in-store to scan customers' membership QR codes, allowing you to give them stamps or retrieve coupons and rewards they want to redeem.

Get the meed App

Using your phone, go to either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and search for "meed Loyalty". If you are reading this on your phone, you can click these links:

Log Into the meed App

To log in, select "Business Log In" and use the email and password from when you created your account. If an account owner invited you to join a team, use the email you were invited with. If you are unsure of your password, select "Use OTP to Log In" to get a one-time passcode (OTP) via email, and log in using the OTP.

When you are logged in, you will land on the home page, which displays your loyalty program's active rewards and coupons.

If you have multiple locations, you can select "Switch" to select the location. This will ensure that all stamps and redemptions are attributed to the correct location or branch of your business.

Scan a Customer's Membership QR Code

Tap Scan in the the bottom toolbar to open the app scanner. Scan the customer's QR code on their Apple or Google Pass or in their phone browser.

Or, tap Scan from a photo just underneath the scanner camera frame, this will scan the customer QR from your phone photo gallery.

How to Stamp

Scanning your customer's QR code will automatically take you to this screen that shows your customer's name. The default number of stamps is 1. Hit the plus button or select the number of stamps to add (for example, 3 stamps). Then tap Add 3 Stamps and Confirm Transaction.

Your customer will get their stamps instantly, and if they have installed the Apple or Google pass, they will get a phone notification confirming this.

Redeem a customer's coupon or reward

If you want to redeem a coupon or reward, select Redeem (instead of Stamp). You will now see all the active coupons and rewards available for redemption.

Select the coupon or reward that the customer will redeem and then tap Confirm Redemption, and the coupon or reward will be spent. The customer will no longer have it in their wallet. You will be able to confirm the number of each redemption spent through the Overview analytics section of your business portal to match your POS records.

In addition, a customer can initiate a request to redeem their reward themselves, directly from their loyalty card (New: Contactless Redemption on meed).
